Scottish Inventors and Engineers Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. All entries must be received by e-mail no later than midnight (GMT) on 20th April 2007 (the "Closing Date"). Please note: this is an online competition only.
  2. Entrants must complete all information required . To win you must answer the questions correctly and, if all your answers are correct, your entry will be entered into the draw. The winners will be selected in a random draw made by the judges. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. The Competition is open to all except those connected with the preparation and administration of the Competition.
  4. Global Friends of Scotland accepts no responsibility for any entries that are lost. No entries will be accepted after the closing date. Confirmation of sending an entry via the Internet is not proof of entry nor does it constitute receipt.
  5. We have 25 presentations packs of the special edition commemorative St Andrew's Day stamps by the Royal Mail www.royalmail.com. Only one prize will be awarded to any individual. The prize cannot be substituted for a cash alternative.
  6. The winner will be notified by e-mail before 30th May 2007 and asked for confirmation of delivery address. Prizes will be distributed within 28 days of receiving confirmation.
  7. If the winner declines to or for any reason cannot accept the prize, or the prizewinner cannot be contacted from the details he/she has supplied , a substitute winner may be drawn at our discretion.
  8. The name of the winners can be obtained by writing to us enclosing a stamped addressed envelope. The names will not be available until after all prizes have been distributed.
  9. By entering the competition, the entrant will be deemed to have read and understood these rules and to be bound by them and by any other requirements set out in any related promotional material.
